This blogspot is dedicated to "HISTORY OF MUSIC IN THE CHURCH VOL. I" - the 60 x 40 mixed media collage which is a visual companion to my soon to be released book " A Musician in the Modern Church / The Supernatural Power of Music Religious & Secular".

The book is taken from my journals as a lifelong musician who receives Jesus Christ, and begins an intense study of music's relationship with and to the Church, and the supernatural power that is present in all music and how to access it. It is written to musicians and artists primarily and is intended to strengthen the church by strengthening her musicians and artists.

The collage portrays the power of God working through music. It is as much art as it is informative provocative, and is divided into 3 vertical sections, some of which are singled out below.

Section 1 takes you from the first mention of music in the Bible to musicians in scripture,examples of their instruments,the power and glory of God flowing through music,it's supernatural power ,and what caused it be hindered.

Section 2 outlines reformation and religious political control and manipulation of church music.

Section 3 concludes with prophetic words regarding " a New sound from Heaven" coming to the earth, and presents a picture of redemption and the return of The fullness of the Power of God moving through Music in the church in these final hours.

UPDATE ON BOOK & BLOGSPOT

One thing I'm learning is that at least in the creative realm,or in my piece of it, everything always takes longer to complete Than I thought it would.

I have been writing my book " THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF MUSIC RELIGIOUS& SECULAR" since march of 2010. I'm told that's not bad but considering I thought I'd have it written in about 3 days and made available by years end....well, such is the creative process.

I have tweaked it as best I could and now I just have to figure out the best way to duplicate it and make it available online. These things take money, you know. I will soon put some excerpts here for preview. I may just make the whole book a blogspot if the money doesn't come. We'll see. Thanks for stoppin by. Bookmark me and check back often, won't you?
